Keep Your Workers Cool and Comfortable

Unwanted heat is generated indoors, whether it’s from processed equipment or industrial applications, solar heat caused by the sun or from the occupants inside with the equipment they use. Many commercial buildings worldwide use chillers for cooling.

What are Chillers?

More widely known as air conditioners, chillers play a critical role in helping temperatures indoors stay at a comfortable level for the people and machines inside a building. They help to make sure that electrical and mechanical equipment is kept within a certain thermal limit, preventing overheating that would cause these machines to break down.

How do Chillers Work?

Chillers are designed as radiators, which are either water-cooled or air-cooled. Both cooling functions move heat from one location to another. They use a motorized blower to force air across a grid of refrigerant lines.

Lower Your Energy Costs!

PreVent Air Filters are customized for outside air intake and can effectively stop airborne pollutants from ever getting inside your chiller, lowering your energy costs by 20% or more.

Where are Chillers Used?

Production Lines/Manufacturing Centers

Chillers are powerful air conditioners, but they typically consume a lot of power. As air is continuously recirculated through the equipment, elements such as dirt, cottonwood seeds, and contaminants are being forced through the system as well. Blocked fins and coils cause the equipment to work harder and use more energy to achieve the same desired A/C temperature, which leads to higher energy bills.

  • Several of our large commercial buildings in Atlanta have purchased the PreVent filtering product for their cooling towers. The benefits of being able to get through our spring season without much intrusion into the building owners equipment has been successful. The product was easy to install and has been simple for the customers to maintain. We are excited to have this product in our line of filtration options.

  • The R2 filters I have sold have worked very well. They do as advertised, by keeping the inside of our air compressors clean. No customer complaints after the sale and no problems with the construction of the washable filters. Your delivery times are fast and your customer service agents are a pleasure to work with. I look forward in continuing our business relationship with Permatron in 2013 and thank you for all of the continued support that we receive in making our compressors work better.

  • I attached a couple of photos of the completed PreVent Screens installed on Trane rooftop units. They fit very well to our dimensions and look good also. Your folks did a good job on matching all of our requested dimensions. I will keep you guys in our contact list as I can see several applications for your product that would be beneficial & it is another product we can offer to our customers.
